| Unless the African Union is reformed, it cannot and will not address the deep and fundamental problems of Africa. If the reform agenda of the African Union fails, then the future of Africa, no matter how many "solve poverty" arm bands are sold is doomed. | ||
| While there are a great many people trying to help the poor, the hungry and sick of Africa, it is not enough to simply provide more band aids and care of the poor and sick, it is to stop people getting sick and being poor in the first place. The only way this will happen is with the reform agenda outlined in the proposed reformed constitution for the African Union. | ||
| Yes, you are asked by a great many people to give money. You may have already been asked a hundred times by different charities to give to African related causes. However, the simple truth is that without money, there is no way to effectively punch through the apathy and red-tape of African institutions. To truly make the cause for reform a red-hot topic that cannot be ignored requires offices, it requires dedicated staff, it requires help from people like you. | ||
